Latino businesses are growing in Polk County. To celebrate, the Latino Business Expo will be held on November 4 at the Lake Eva Events Center, 799 Johns Ave. in the city of Haines City.
The expo will focus on the valuable Latino-owned businesses throughout the Central Florida region. The event will be open to all entrepreneurs and individuals seeking to establish professional exchanges, resources for business development and valuable up-to-date information.
The expo includes the participation of Latino entrepreneurs, workshops, lunch and a closing social gathering with special entertainment, which will feature invited speakers and important personalities such as Dr. Angela García Falconetti, president of Polk State College, our Sheriff Grady Judd and more. , throughout the presentation. The showroom will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All aspects of this day have been planned to provide extensive resources, valuable exchanges, and practical business solutions for participants.
The workshops will be punctual and updated to the needs of today's entrepreneurs. These will include topics like new marketing standards, tips for creating business plans that work for your business, small business grants and funding resources, and financial wellness for small businesses. Dr. Yarissa Bonet, founder and owner of Fibrofit Wellness & Yoga, will give a special attention and awareness workshop.
Lunch will feature a varied menu and holidays provided by restaurants local Latinos, we will have the presence from the Polk County Commissioner, Dr. Martha Santiago, as keynote speaker.
